Today’s the day for the Virtual Visits with Santa! (There might still be space available, so if you haven’t signed up yet, call 250-428-9262 – we can take last-minute sign-ups until 1:00 PM or all spaces are filled, whichever comes first).
And in the meantime, your challenge for today is: Send a card to someone who’s isolated!
You know the joy of receiving something completely unexpected in the mail? Let’s give that to someone today. Dig out all those Christmas cards that come in the fundraising packages – you know, the ones you’ve kept because you planned to use them some day – and send them off.

Maybe you already know of someone who lives alone and can’t have any visitors these days. If not (or in addition), consider writing to the residents at Swan valley Lodge, CrestView Village, or TAPs.
For privacy reasons, we can’t give out individuals’ names and addresses. But you could send a card to someone you know in one of those programs. You could send a general card to all the residents. You could send a whole envelope of cards with a cover letter asking staff to distribute them to anyone who needs one.

Just drop off your cards at Swan Valley Lodge (they have a greeter there who can take them from you) or CrestView Village. To get cards to TAPS clients, mail them to TAPs at 404 22 Ave S, Creston, BC V0B 1G5
