It’s About Time

Have you checked this out yet?

It’s an interactive virtual program created by LiveHistory Shows, a history-theatre company that has toured museums and historic sites around the world. You may recall they came to the Creston Museum a few years ago and we had a wonderful time solving mysteries throughout the Museum’s exhibit spaces.

This week, we’re partnering with LiveHistory Shows to offer workshops to schools. Over the course of a couple of days this week, six local classes are participating in either a mystery-building workshop or in the special show, “It’s About Time.”

We’re also offering two presentations of “It’s About Time” to the public – and if you missed Monday night’s showing, I highly recommend you join in on Thursday’s!

I had a chance to join in last night, and I can say – this presentation is wonderful. I don’t want to give too much away, but you will laugh. You will cry. You will sympathize with the things that the main character is going through, and you will be able to share in those experiences.

This is, as LiveHistory Shows creator Jasmine Bowen says, “a Canadian female story that sometimes goes untold.” If you want to know more, without giving up the suspense of who this woman is and what she does, I can tell you this: you are going back to France in 1916 and getting to know this woman through her letters.

Intrigued? Good! Thursday night’s show starts at 7:00 PM and you can RSVP / get your tickets here. It all takes place via Zoom, from the comfort of your living room (join online or over the phone) – once you sign up, we’ll send you a link to join!
