Task Overview: Kids’ Day is a busy day of games and activities for children up to age 12 (though we have lots of parents and grandparents joining in, too!). We have scheduled major activities and things that happen throughout the day: lessons in the schoolhouse, pioneer crafts and skills, god panning, old-fashioned games, etc. We are looking for volunteers to help run the activities and make the whole day fun and exciting for the youngsters! There’s also hotdogs and ice cream at lunch time, a scavenger hunt throughout the Museum to superintend, prizes to give out, and a penny-candy store to staff.
Job Type: One-Time / Seasonal
Suitable for: Individuals / Teams
Schedule: Saturday, June 8; orientation and training on Friday, June 7. The event runs from 10:00 – 3:00, and we hope you can contribute at least half of the day.
Requirements: Liking kids, liking having fun, and liking having fun with kids are pretty important! We’ll get you up to speed on everything else!
