Task Overview: Each Spring, we hold a clean-up day to get rid of the dust and debris that accumulates over the winter. We have quite a few tasks to choose from: dusting and sweeping; washing windows and large outdoor artifacts; cleaning windows; some yardwork; some tidying and rearranging of exhibits. It’s how we get the whole Museum clean and sparkling for the busy summer season – and you get to get really hands-on with everything we have. Plus, we have coffee, juice, and goodies after.
Job Type: One Time
Suitable For: Individuals; Families; Groups
Schedule: Tentatively April 17-18 13, 10:00 – 2:00.
Requirements: Physically able to do the work – but with the range of jobs available, we can find something for pretty much anyone. Wear work clothes and good shoes. If you have tools and equipment you can bring – bucket, rake, cleaning rags, gloves, a stepladder, that sort of thing – that will help supplement our fairly limited supply. We are looking for a small chipper/shredder for tree branches and trimmings, if you have one we can borrow.
