Raise your hand if you can hardly believe that tomorrow is July 1st. Us too 😮
But it has indeed arrived, and with it, the celebration of Canada’s birthday. Unfortunately, COVID-19 has put a halt to the annual community celebrations – watching fireworks at the Rec Centre and making old-fashioned ice cream at Canyon Park were some past highlights – but do not despair! Our doors are open and we have organized a few safe hands-on activities that are sure to be fun for the entire family.
Ever participate in our famous apple packing relay? Or maybe you want to take a stab at playing horse by pulling our resident harrow across the lawn. Both are a sure fire way of tuckering out those energetic kids, or showing the fam you’ve still got the strength and stamina of your youth. And the best part – admission is by donation! It’s a win-win situation for everyone involved.
Canada Day certainly is a day worth celebrating, so come on down to the Creston Museum and learn about our community’s history! See you tomorrow 😀
